10 Most Amazing Waterfalls on Earth


1. Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe 


One of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is the largest waterfall based on width and height. Two national parks surround the falls.

2. Angel Falls - Venezuela 


The worlds highest uninterrupted waterfall in the world. It has 47 drops and the longest drop is 2,648 ft. 

3. Manawaiopuna Falls - Kauai Hawaii


This waterfall is also know as Jurassic Falls because it is the location used in the first Jurassic Park movie. Best way to view the falls is to do a helicopter tour. 

4. Detain Waterfall - China & Vietnam 


A very scenic waterfall located on the boarder of China and Vietnam. The summer months are where it gets the most crowed but it's definitely worth the trip. 

5. Mae Ya Waterfall - Thailand 


One of the biggest and most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The water cascades down into a natural pool that many local children love to swim in. 

6. Blood Falls - Antarctica 


One of the most unique waterfalls in the world is in Antarctica. Its red because of iron oxide tainted water flowing from the Taylor Glacier. 

7. Marvel Cave Falls - Missouri


An amazing waterfall located 500 ft under ground in the Marvel Cave system in Branson, Missouri. 

8. Turner Falls - Oklahoma 


At 77 feet it's the tallest waterfall in Oklahoma. The falls cascade into a natural swimming pool that is always packed during the summer months. 

9. Niagara Falls - New York & Ontario 


The most well known waterfall in North America is Niagara. Three waterfalls (Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls) make up Niagara Falls.  

10. Iguazu Falls - Brazil & Argentina 

One of the "New Seven Wonders of the World". Eleanor Roosevelt is rumored to have said "Poor Niagara" when she visited the falls.
